You can get to the point of putting in the person's email address and everything. But then you try to click on Share This Folder, and nothing happens. The other person never gets an invite.
Does anyone know why this is happening and what to do about it?
I've found that creating a new folder from the "my dropbox" folder does the trick. it'll take you to the site to enter in the person's email address, but it's smooth sailing from there. you should easily find the link in the "my dropbox" folder that says "share this folder" once it has been created.

Yes, but its difficult to describe. You have to put the name and email address in the correct spaces and ther's no map if that makes sense. For me its a trial and arror, but doable. Practice it and carefully read the page. Change the order.
I'm not sure what they broke to make it that way, but I've had this problem for months. If you're going to get it to work at all, you have to route JAWS cursor to PC, and click on the share link with the left mouse button. Hitting enter or space on it won't work. But most of the time I can't even get that to work. I have an iPhone, and the only way I can share Dropbox folders with people anymore is to do it using the Safari browser on my phone. Even that's a pain to do, but it's the only way I've found.
I can get it working and I'll give it a go to explain how, but its not simple as it was like sister says.
I'll post it soon if I can set it up in a do this do that format. Lol
when it says Enter email address here, tap ones again, there's where you enter your email address for the party you want to invite. For some odd reason, the first eddit box doesn't fill it in for you even if you thought your information is there, or even if Jaws telling you the information is there.

Buttercup is exactly right... You just need to tab an extra time, to put in the email address.
